After two successful years producing the New York City Drone Film Festival, Yeah Drones is excited to enter the emerging world of drone racing. The company was founded by Randy Scott Slavin, an award-winning director, photographer and drone expert who regularly appears on panels, in publications and on television discussing all things drone.

Dedicated to bringing the excitement of science to people of all ages, Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, a 3D theater, the nation’s largest IMAX Dome Theater, live simulcast surgeries, tornado and hurricane-force wind simulators, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than half a million students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center’s offsite and online programs.

ABOUT THE NEW YORK CITY DRONE FILM FESTIVAL:

The New York City Drone Film Festival is the world’s first event dedicated to celebrating the art of drone cinematography. The festival offers an international platform for filmmakers from every corner of the globe to exhibit their work in front of industry professionals and the drone community. The #NYCDFF has experienced rapid growth since its inception in 2014, counting companies like GE, NBC News, Adobe and DJI as headline sponsors. In 2016 the second annual #NYCDFF was a 3-day event including a dynamic slate of interactive panels and a “Day of Drones” hosted at the Liberty Science Center which included drone battling and FPV Drone Racing. The event sold out in 6 hours, received over 350 submissions from 45 countries, saw 5,500+ people in attendance over the festival weekend and earned over 350 million media impressions worldwide.   Mark Cuban's AXS TV will run a it's second #NYCDFF 90-minute television special this summer.
