CONTEST STRUCTURE

  • Each round will count on its own with no point carryovers
  • Ties will be decided by sudden death heats
  • Race director will make all final calls
  • Racers will be seeded starting at round 3 of the competition

ROUND 1- 100 RACERS - TRACK SETUP 1

  • Time Trial Elimination
  • Each pilot will fly 2 consecutive 2 minute heats
  • Heats will be in groups of 4 pilots
  • Each pilot's fastest lap times for all heats will count  towards the final leaderboard
  • Top 24

ROUND 2 - 24 Racers - TRACK SETUP 2 (Inclusion of WINDMILL GATE)

  • Time Trial Elimination
  • Each pilot will fly 3 consecutive 3 lap heats
  • Heats will be in groups of 4 pilots
  • Each pilot will be required to mount and compete with their own HD Sport Cam on their drone for this round (GoPro, RunCam, Mobius etc)
  • Each pilot's fastest lap times for all heats will count towards the final leaderboard
  • Top 8 racers will advance

ROUND 3 - 8 RACERS (Inclusion of DIVE GATE)

  • There will be 4 x single elimination bracket tournaments. Each heat will feature two pilots racing head to head
  • Each pilot will be required to mount and compete with their own HD Sport Cam on their drone for this round (GoPro, RunCam, Mobius etc)
  • 10 points will be awarded to 1st place in each of the four bracket tournaments
  • 5 Points will be awarded to 2nd place in each of the four bracket tournaments
  • The 4 pilots with the highest cumulative scores will advance to the final round

FINAL ROUND - 4 RACERS - TRACK SETUP 3

  • 3 lap heats
  • Each heat will include all 4 pilots
  • Each pilot will be required to mount and compete with their own HD Sport Cam on their drone for this round (GoPro, RunCam, Mobius etc)
  • 5 points will be awarded to 1st place
  • 2 Points will be awarded to 2nd place
  • 1 Points will be awarded to 3nd place
  • The contest will be complete when the first pilot scores 50 points.
  • 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded based on cumulative points
